Privacy notice

Scope and controller

This notice applies to the TextPreflight website and API. Kadir Çöteli, operating TextPreflight from Türkiye, determines how application-level data is processed. Privacy requests can be sent to kadircoteli@gmail.com.

Data processed

The service processes message text and analysis options supplied in an API request solely to compute and return the requested result. For licensed endpoints, a license key is sent to Polar for validation. Cloudflare processes network information, including an IP-derived rate-limit identifier and ordinary request metadata, to deliver and protect the service.

Message content

Application code processes message bodies transiently in Worker memory. It does not write message bodies to application storage or application logs. Do not submit personal or sensitive information that is unnecessary for SMS analysis.

Usage records and retention

The application stores a SHA-256 hash of the license key, UTC billing month, aggregate request count and update timestamp in Cloudflare D1. It does not store the original license key in D1. Pseudonymous usage records older than 13 months are automatically deleted. Operational error logs contain a request ID, fixed API path, HTTP method, status and error code, but not the request body or license key.

Service providers

Cloudflare provides edge execution, rate limiting, logs and database infrastructure. Polar provides checkout, subscriptions, license validation and customer billing. If you access the demo through RapidAPI, RapidAPI also receives and routes the request. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy notice.

Purpose and legal basis

Data is processed to perform the requested service, manage licenses and quotas, secure the API, prevent abuse and meet applicable legal obligations. Depending on the circumstances, these activities rely on contract performance, legitimate interests or legal obligations.

International processing

Cloud and marketplace providers may process information in multiple countries. Their contractual and technical safeguards govern those transfers. TextPreflight does not sell message content or use it for advertising.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or information about application-level personal data. Because demo requests do not create a TextPreflight account and message bodies are not retained, some requests may not be linkable to an individual. Contact the address above for assistance or to raise a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.

Cookies

The TextPreflight website does not include advertising cookies, third-party analytics scripts or browser storage in this release. Polar and RapidAPI apply their own cookie notices on their domains.

Terms of service

Agreement and service

By using TextPreflight, you agree to these terms. TextPreflight provides estimates and diagnostics for SMS encoding, segmentation, Unicode risk and cost modeling. It does not send messages and does not replace carrier or messaging-provider billing records.

Accounts, licenses and quotas

Protected endpoints require an active TextPreflight license issued through Polar. License keys must be kept confidential and may not be resold, shared publicly or used to bypass plan limits. Published quotas and rate limits apply per plan and may be enforced automatically.

Subscriptions, cancellation and refunds

Polar acts as merchant of record and authorized reseller for purchases made through its checkout. Subscription pricing, renewal frequency and cancellation controls are shown during checkout. Customers can cancel through the Polar customer portal; access continues only as stated at checkout and in Polar's applicable buyer terms. Refunds and mandatory consumer rights are handled under the checkout terms and applicable law.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to facilitate spam, fraud, unlawful surveillance, credential theft, harassment or prohibited messaging. Do not disrupt the service, probe other customers' data, bypass limits, automate abusive traffic or attempt unauthorized access. You remain responsible for consent, opt-out, content, telecommunications and consumer-protection obligations associated with messages you analyze or send.

Accuracy and provider differences

Results are calculated from documented profiles and supplied inputs. Carrier behavior can vary by provider, route, country, sender type and message technology. Validate critical billing decisions against your provider's current rules. Cost estimates are informational and are not a guarantee of a provider invoice.

Intellectual property

TextPreflight, its original software, visual identity and original site content are owned by Kadir Çöteli, except for third-party components and marks that remain the property of their respective owners. Access to the API grants a limited, revocable right to use the service under these terms; it does not transfer the backend source code, brand or other intellectual property.

Third-party services and marks

Hosting, commerce, marketplace and messaging services used with TextPreflight are operated by independent third parties. Their names and marks remain the property of their respective owners. TextPreflight does not claim affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement unless expressly stated.

Availability, changes and termination

The service may change as it develops. Material pricing or plan changes will not retroactively alter an already-paid billing period. Access may be suspended for abuse, security risk, non-payment or violation of these terms. Reasonable efforts are made to maintain availability, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. TextPreflight is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or provider charges caused by reliance on estimates, except where liability cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer or statutory rights.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without overriding mandatory protections that apply in a customer's country. Questions or formal notices may be sent to kadircoteli@gmail.com.

Responsible security disclosure

Report suspected vulnerabilities privately to kadircoteli@gmail.com with reproduction steps and potential impact. Do not access other users' data, degrade availability, use automated high-volume scanning, disclose a vulnerability publicly before remediation, or retain data obtained during testing. Good-faith reports will be acknowledged when practical.
